He mentioned he’d be down to lay down some of his signature (humongous sounding!) electric bass on a track for me. He came in and killed it! But now I had a big problem (and Tony made this clear to me in no uncertain terms)- no other bass player can bring the low end like Jimmy. I was going to have some serious sonic imbalance in the low range. I mention this to Jimmy and he said, " No problem! I’ll play on anything you need, Bro!". He laid down the whole record and I couldn’t be happier!
